The skiing
The terrain on the doorstep is excellent and rarely crowded, and the famous Weisser Ring circuit passes straight through. Snow reliability here is outstanding given the altitude.
The village and the evenings
There is little more than a handful of smart hotels, which keeps Zürs peaceful and private. It is a place for skiing and quiet evenings rather than nightlife.
Getting there
Innsbruck is about an hour and a half away, with Zurich a comfortable alternative.
