The skiing
The four linked mountains give a good spread of mostly intermediate terrain, with reliable snowmaking to back up the modest altitude. The floodlit evenings are a genuine highlight.

The town is welcoming and unpretentious, with a lively but not wild evening scene. It offers a lot of skiing for the money.
