Know the mountain before you go.
The skiing
Beyond the parks there is a genuinely big mountain, with long runs, a glacier and plenty for skiers and boarders of every level. The freestyle scene is world class, with one of the largest halfpipes anywhere.
The village and the evenings
The base areas have a young, contemporary feel, with striking architecture and a lively but not laddish crowd. It looks and feels different to the traditional Alpine resort.
