The skiing
From here you can loop the famous Portes du Soleil circuit across into Switzerland and back, taking in Morgins, Champéry and Avoriaz along the way. The local slopes suit families and improvers well.
The village and the evenings
The village stretches along the valley with plenty of traditional chalets, cheese shops and cosy places to eat. It has a relaxed, unpretentious feel.
Getting there
Geneva is about an hour and a half away by road, so transfers are short and simple.
